“My mother first said about 10 years ago that she wanted a BMW, and we never forgot that.”
The number one goal of most parents is to raise kids who are more successful than they are. No matter the sacrifices required, the long work hours or the missed vacations, parenthood motivates mothers and fathers alike to work as hard as they can to provide a better life for their children.
One mother who has been successful in giving her children a better life than she ever had was shocked when her two children decided to thank her with an incredible gift.
The BMW Is Mom’s Dream Car
Australian Daniel Knust and his older brother Jason idolized their mother. They saw how hard she worked to take care of them, working two jobs and never letting them see her sweat. They decided they wanted to show her how much they loved her.
Daniel’s mother had told her sons that her dream car was a BMW 3 Series. She never thought she would be able to afford such a vehicle. Lucky for her, she had two adoring sons who were working behind the scenes to make sure her dream came true.
“My mother first said about 10 years ago that she wanted a BMW, and we never forgot that,” Daniel said. “We said that one day we would get her one and we’ve been saving up for it.”
Christmas Came Early for This Lucky Mom
Daniel and his brother had been secretly saving for five years, stashing away money to buy the greatest gift ever for their mom. Finally, shortly before Christmas, they had the funds they needed. The two boys purchased the BMW, and presented it to their mom, who was in shock. Daniel shared the special moment on his Instagram, writing:
“Showing gratitude to our beautiful Mum who’s worked so hard to give us everything in life. Compared to the sacrifices she has made for us over the years, this is nothing. A little gift to show her how much we appreciate everything she’s done for Jason and I. I’ve wanted to do this for 10 years, and today a long term dream came true. Hard work pays off, and that’s something our Mum taught us from a very young age that we’ll never forget. “
Always Show Gratitude
Our parents may not always talk about how much they sacrifice for us, but you can be sure that they have done everything in their power to make us happy. That’s why we should all follow Daniel and Jason’s lead and express gratitude as much and as often as possible. It serves both the giver and the receiver.
